Free Regional Events workshops

Tourism New South Wales will be holding a series of Regional Event Development workshops across NSW, including Deniliquin on the 27th September and Griffith on the 28th September. The aim of the workshops is to help assist communities to develop sustainable events that will attract visitors to their regions.

There is a joint Centrelink and WorkVentures opportunity to access low cost personal computers (PCs). WorkVentures have released a new batch of higher powered internet-ready PCs for just $290 which includes WorkVentures support to help you get set up at home.

New path a win for people power

Local tenants out at Springdale Heights have taken action. They’ve formed a tenant action group, which is committed to making their community a better place to live. They have lobbied successfully to have a footpath installed to improve a main thoroughfare through Glenelg Street Common to their local park.
