Results Based Accountability 101 training - Wagga Wagga and Moama

Intereach, with the support of Families NSW, will be delivering one day training workshops in the Results Based Accountability framework in Wagga Wagga on the 15th and 16th November and in Moama on the 22nd November. Results Based Accountability is a quality improvement and planning framework for human and community services that is based on identifying the benefits we want to achieve and working backwards to determine how we will achieve them and evaluate our progress.

In the workshop, participants will learn the principles behind RBA and how to apply it, both to community-wide conditions of well-being and to the quality improvement of projects, programs, agencies and services. Topics covered will include:

  • Identifying and improving conditions of well-being for communities;
  • Identifying and measuring how we want our customers to be better off;
  • Improving the performance of our projects, programs and services; and
  • How RBA can be applied in the workplace and as a community-wide initiative.

Workshop fees include a copy of Mark Friedman’s book ‘Trying Hard Is Not Good Enough’, morning tea, lunch and an RBA 101 guide. The workshops will be facilitated by Nina O’Brien-Hehir and Kate Butler.
