Managing Challenging Behaviour - A Pro-active Approach

Intereach will be hosting nationally recognised speaker in the area of Behaviour Management, Clive Dennis, for two three-hour workshops on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 November. The workshop is ideal for anyone working with children or adults and it encompasses a pro-active approach to preventing and reducing the occurence of challenging behavours.

Clive Dennis – RMDN, B.App.Sc. (DD), Master of Spec. Ed. a nationally recognised speaker in the area of Behaviour Management and is in demand as a dynamic and entertaining keynote speaker. He has worked with a variety of clientele including Government Departments, Schools and Community and Family groups for the past 20 years.

This workshop will provide workers with a variety of options to prevent and or reduce the possibility of the occurrence of challenging behaviours. It will also discuss how to be proactive in your approach instead of reactive, and how to empower the individual to be more responsible for their own behavior. The strategies used can be transferred to many situations involving both children and adults exhibiting challenging behaviours.
