People with Disabilities
Are you elderly, living with a disability or caring for someone that is? Do they have complex or multiple care needs that aren't being met with existing services? The Intereach Community Options program can help you access and organise services as well as advocate on your behalf.
Are you returning home from a stay in hospital and require assistance around the home with multiple tasks, such as personal care or domestic assistance? The ComPacks program helps you access the community services you may need to ensure a safe and supported return home.
Do you live in the Deniliquin, Mathoura, Conargo or Griffith areas and have a disability and need transport? Are you isolated and have difficulty accessing public or private transport? If this is you, then Community Transport may be able to assist you.
Are you concerned about your child not reaching their developmental milestones? Do you care for a child living with a disability? The Intereach Early Childhood Intervention Service can help your child reach their full potential.
Are you elderly, disabled or care for someone who is, and have difficulty maintaining your home and garden? Do you need some modifications to your home to ensure you can continue to live independently? The Intereach Home Maintenance and Modification program can provide assistance and help you afford the cost of maintaining and modifying your home.
Respite is a break from the responsibility of looking after someone. If you care for someone who is frail aged, has a disability or is a Veterans' Affairs client, we can offer respite services to help you manage your own health and well-being.
Do you care for someone who has a disability, a mental health issue, a chronic condition or who is frail aged? Even if you only provide a few hours care a week, you may need support, information or respite (a break) from your responsibilities. Are you elderly, living with a disability, or caring for someone that is, and feel socially isolated? Do you live in a rural area and feel like you are alone? The Intereach Social Support program provides companions to help with social outings, shopping, medical appointments and support groups.
