Carers
Do you live in a rural community and care for, or live with, someone who has a mental health issue? They might be anxious, depressed or not coping well with stress. You might be a carer, a friend, a relative or a neighbour. The Intereach CommuniCare5000 program can help you tailor a plan of action to meet the needs of you and your family.
Respite is a break from the responsibility of looking after someone. If you care for someone who is frail aged, has a disability or is a Veterans' Affairs client, we can offer respite services to help you manage your own health and well-being.
Do you care for someone who has a disability, a mental health issue, a chronic condition or who is frail aged? Even if you only provide a few hours care a week, you may need support, information or respite (a break) from your responsibilities. The Riverina Murray Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre can provide information and support.Read more: Riverina Murray Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre
Are you under the age of 25 and give a lot of support to someone with a disability, who is elderly or who has mental health issues? The Young Carers Group is a great way for you to meet and socialise with other young people who are carers.
