Intereach is involved in community development in the Deniliquin area through support for community, cultural and social groups. We provide consultations, research and help with program development and grant applications. We provide access to community resources and help with the planning of events such as Harmony Day and the White Ribbon Breakfast.
Do you need somewhere to host a meeting, training or film screening in Deniliquin? Have you thought about hiring a room at the Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre? Rooms are available on weekdays, evenings and weekends and can be hired by community and corporate groups at reasonable rates.
The Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre offers free Internet access via four computers that are available to the public.
The Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre is a community hub, providing venue hire and resources, and is a home to Intereach, The Country Store, Broadband for Seniors, St. Luke's Anglicare and CRS.
Are you an individual or a family living on a low income? Are you finding it difficult to purchase basic household items, or meet your health and education needs? The No Interest Loan Scheme provides interest-free loans with repayment plans to suit your circumstances.
Are you a social housing tenant who needs advice or information on issues such as your rights and responsibilities as a tenant? Do you want to have a say on housing in the Riverina Murray region? The Tenant Participation Resource Service provides information and advice and the chance for you to become more involved.
The Country Store is based at the Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre and sells quality handmade and locally produced goods. Local producers and home manufacturers provide goods for sale and a percentage of profits is donated to the Deniliquin Hospital's Naponda Auxiliary.
