Community room hire

The Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre has community rooms with equipment available for hire to corporate and community groups. Rooms can be hired on weekdays, after business hours and on weekends and can be for single or regular events and activities. All rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Who can hire the rooms?

Booking priority is given to community groups and government and corporate organisations where the intention of the activity or event is primarily non-profit-making. Exceptions may include fundraising activities by community groups or charitable organisations or commercial activities where it can be shown that no other facilities are available or the aims of the activity are in the interests of the community.

What is the cost?

Room hire costs range from $10 - 35 per day for community groups to $40 - 100 per day for corporate groups. Intereach may waive or reduce fees for community groups where financial hardship can be demonstrated though this is at the discretion of the CEO. Please download our latest fee schedule below.

Equipment hire is $30 per day and includes the fixed data projector and screen in Community Room B OR a whiteboard, portable data projector, screen, Internet access and a portable TV with DVD and VCR player. Equipment can only be hired with room hire and cannot be removed from the building.

A refundable deposit of $20 is required on booking.

How do I book a room?

Download the Function Request Form (see below). It is available in Word format and as a PDF file. Complete the form and return by post, hand or email to the Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre (details on our Contact Us page). Please note that a booking is only confirmed once a room hire contract has been signed.
