Early Childhood Intervention Service
Helping children reach their potential
If you are concerned that your child may not be reaching their full potential or developmental milestones, or need assistance in educating a child living with a disability then the Early Childhood Intervention Service may be able to help you and your child.
Early Childhood Intervention works with families to help their children reach their full potential. This could include a range of services working together to help in areas such as health, therapy, education and support services.
How does the Early Childhood Intervention Service work?
An Early Childhood Intervention worker will assess your needs and explain how the service may best assist your child and family. After this assessment a service plan will be made for your family and an educational plan will be made for your child.
The worker will provide a home or centre based program and assist you to monitor your child's progress through meetings with the service providers assisting your child and family.
Who does the Early Childhood Intervention Service assist?
Early Childhood Intervention Service assists families with children 0-6 years of age who have a disability or who may be delayed in reaching their developmental milestones.
Where is the Early Childhood Intervention Service available?
Early Childhood Intervention is available in the Deniliquin, Murray, Wakool and Conargo Shires and is based at our Children and Family Services office on the Corner of Barham Rd & Calimo Streets, Deniliquin.
