Out of School Hours Childcare (OOSH)

It's where kids want to beoosh

Are you a working parent who needs Out of School Hours (OOSH) Care for your primary school aged children? Are you a parent needing a break from caring?

The Out of School Hours Care program offers centre-based childcare, both after school and during the school holidays. The centre is run by qualified and experienced staff to ensure a fun and exciting range of activities for the children. Choices include art, craft, cooking, drama, excursions and indoor/outdoor games and activities.

Who can apply for Out of School Hours Care?

The After School/Out of School Hours Care program is for primary school aged children, there are 30 Childcare benefit approved places.

The Vacation Care/Out of School Hours Care program is for primary school aged children, there are 50 Childcare benefit approved places.

Is transport available for the children to get to care?

Children in the After School Care program are picked up from their school by the local bus company and dropped off at Out of School Hours care where they will be provided with a healthy and nutritious afternoon tea.

When do the programs run?

The After School Care program runs Monday - Friday, 3pm - 6pm, during the NSW school term and is closed on Public Holidays.

The Vacation Care program runs Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm in NSW school holidays (including Pupil Free Days), and is closed on Public Holidays.

Where is the child care centre?

OOSH care is based at our Children and Family Services office on the Corner of Barham Rd & Calimo Streets, Deniliquin. Bookings are essential as places are limited.
