Aboriginal Children and Schooling Transition Project

Need help getting your children started in pre-school? Tricky getting your kids to stay at primary school?

The Intereach Aboriginal Children and Schooling Transition Project works with children and their families to get started in the education system and stay involved.

The project can help with practical support such as organising uniforms, organising transport, talking with the pre-school or school, going with you at times, or helping you understand how it all works.

Intereach and the Deniliquin Local Aboriginal Land Council (DLALC) work in partnership, with Intereach supporting the pre-school to primary school transition and the DLALC supporting the primary school to high school transition.

Where is it available?

The project is available in the Deniliquin region.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost.
