Out of School Hours Care (OOSH)

Do you have primary school aged children? Need childcare during school term or holidays?

Intereach OOSH provides great activities for children including art, craft, cooking, drama, excursions and indoor/outdoor games and activities.

Is transport available for the children to get to care?

Children in the After School Care program are picked up from their school by the local bus company and dropped off at Out of School Hours care where they will be provided with a healthy and nutritious afternoon tea.

How do I know this is a quality service?

Intereach Out of School Hours (OOSH) program has been rated as ‘exceeding’ against the National Quality Standards, a rating system that benchmarks child care services in Australia. This is a significant achievement given that only 15% of Out of School Hours Care services across Australia have been rated as exceeding.

When do the programs run?

The After School Care program runs Monday – Friday, 3pm – 6pm, during the NSW school term and is closed on Public Holidays.

The Vacation Care program runs Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm in NSW school holidays (including Pupil Free Days), and is closed on Public Holidays.

Where is the child care centre?

OOSH care is based at the Deniliquin Family Centre at 366 Trickett Street, Deniliquin, next to the Deniliquin Neighbourhood Centre.

Is there a cost?

Costs vary depending on your family situation and designed to be affordable for families.  Government subsidies apply.
