Intereach is a not-for-profit community organisation committed to developing community infrastructure and supporting rural, regional and remote communities.

For over 50 years, Intereach has been working throughout the Riverina-Murray region of NSW and more recently northern and central Victoria to strengthen and support communities and to improve the social and personal wellbeing of children, families, older people, carers and people with disability.

Our Communities

There are 741,000+ people living in our service area, which covers 38 local government areas across the Riverina-Murray and Lower Far West regions of NSW and central and northern Victoria. We have more than 460 staff, along with 120 volunteers, providing support to those who need it within our footprint.

Intereach has offices in Albury, Balranald, Bendigo, Cootamundra, Corowa, Deniliquin, Echuca, Finley, Gisborne, Griffith, Hay, Maryborough, Mildura, Seymour, Shepparton, Swan Hill and Wagga Wagga.

Our History

In 1973 Intereach commenced its operations under the name of the Deniliquin Council for Social Development. Since then, we’ve strived towards empowering communities to live their best lives.
