Intereach Inclusion Action Plan
The Intereach Inclusion Action Plan 2020 – 2022 is Intereach’s second Inclusion Action Plan. It highlights our commitment to promote an inclusive community and sustain a sense of belonging for diverse communities and people. It values and practices respect for the talents, beliefs, backgrounds, access, equity and ways of living of all of its members.
Through consultation with our Intereach staff and the communities we work within, our plan was developed with the following at its core:
- Inclusion is involvement and empowerment, where the inherent worth and dignity of all people are recognised.
- Diversity covers the range of human differences, including but not limited to culture, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, financial, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, and political beliefs and any other real or perceived differences.
Intereach looks forward to continuing its work towards enhancing inclusion and diversity within our organisation and the communities in which we live and work.
