Director recruitment information
This is your opportunity to be part of the Board of Directors for a community-based organisation that is leading in making a collective effort to support the rural communities we serve. As part of Intereach’s Board, you will add value and have an impact on communities situated within the Riverina-Murray region of NSW, northern and central Victoria.
We are seeking a Director(s) to work alongside our existing progressive and transformational Board. With a focus on overseeing corporate governance and sustainability for our organisation, your role will be pivotal in our continued success, compliance and innovation.
We are a community organisation that thinks globally and acts locally.
In taking on a Director position you will:
- Apply Intereach’s values and fundamentals to your role as a Director
- Work collaboratively with our Co-CEOs, Executive and fellow Directors to lead, set and progress strategic direction
- Bring strategic and/or expertise in aged care, disability or children’s services sector or similar
- Participate in the delivery of our new strategic plan
- Oversee risk and governance support and control
- Oversee budget monitoring
- Influence and develop policy
- Be eligible for a succession pathway to Chair or Deputy Chair with the support of a mentor
- Opportunities for learning and growth
Please note: You are not eligible to apply for a position on the Intereach Board of Directors if you are:
- a registered service provider or employee of a registered service provider under a government contract being delivered by Intereach
- an employee of Intereach
- directly related to an employee of Intereach
