Intereach will be showcasing its programs, services and facilities available at an office open day in Corowa.

On Thursday 9 March community members are invited to tour the office, meet the friendly team and learn about Intereach’s services and programs available in the Corowa region.

Intereach Co-CEO Yvette Buhagiar said Intereach was a proud partner in the community.

“We are part of the Corowa community and we strive to make a real difference in people’s lives. We encourage people to come along meet our team and find out more about our services,” Ms Buhagiar said.

“We pride ourselves on being a community connector.”

Services from the Corowa office include services for children and adults living with a disability through our NDIS Local Area Coordination and Early Childhood services, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, Home Care Packages which provide services for older people, No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS), Centrelink support, Reach Out and Relax (ROAR) and Safer Communities supporting the wellbeing of young people as well as providing one-on-one support and social groups for children and families.

The office also boasts multiple community and meeting rooms and these can be hired for a small fee.

“Our staff can help people navigate the sometimes complex areas of social support and assistance,” Ms Buhagiar said.

The open day will start at 10.30am through to 12.30pm at the Intereach Corowa office, located at Shops 18-20 in the Corowa Arcade, 113 Sanger St. There will be a free morning tea to enjoy.
