Intereach opens new Bendigo office
The growth of community service provider Intereach in the Bendigo area was the driving force behind a move to its new office.
The new Intereach office, at 426 Hargreaves St, Bendigo, opens to the public on Monday December 16.
It’s only a block from the old office, but that is where the similarities end.
“This move represents an exciting chapter in the growth of Intereach in the Bendigo region,” explained CEO Keryn Fox.
“With staff numbers at about 50, and an opportunity to grow our services in the region, we deemed it necessary to provide our staff and participants with a facility that is more appropriate to our present needs,” she added.

In the completely refurbished office there are substantially improved facilities including more meeting rooms, improved privacy for participants, conference room for staff, large open office space with plenty of natural light and more vehicle parking. The building also has all abilities access.
Ms Fox said Bendigo was the first Victorian office to be opened by Intereach, following the organisation’s appointment as a partner to the National Disability Insurance Agency in the Loddon area.
“Intereach now provides a range of community services across northern and central Victoria, and throughout southern New South Wales,” Ms Fox said.
Ms Fox said the new Bendigo office will be open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, from December 16, and all participant meetings will be held there from that date.
Among the staff helping anyone who calls in will be the new ‘Community Linkers’, who are specially trained to ‘link’ community members to the services they need.
“So, anyone who thinks we can help them personally, or a friend or family member in any way, is invited to visit our new office and talk to a ‘linker’ about our services and ways we may be able to help,” Ms Fox said.
She said an official opening for the new Bendigo office would be organised early in the new year.
