Local communities gather for informative sessions on women’s health

Local community service provider Intereach, proudly hosted two enlightening events as part of Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week 2023. These events, held in Finley and Corowa, saw around 50 local community attendees eager to discuss women’s health. 

The sessions featured guest speaker Louise Hallinan, an international award-winning author and the founder of The Smart Brain Health Centre. Ms. Hallinan shared her expertise on various aspects of women’s health, particularly focusing on the importance of brain health and wellness. Her inspiring presentation provided valuable insights into enhancing cognitive well-being and fostering overall health. 

In addition to Ms. Halinan’s captivating talk, GV Health and Albury Wodonga Health delivered informative presentations on a wide range of women’s health topics and resources for women in the local community. These sessions aimed to empower attendees with knowledge about physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
