Parkinson’s Support Group

Do you have Parkinson’s Disease, or do you know someone who does?

The Echuca-Deniliquin Parkinson’s Support Group will welcome special guest speaker Caterina Marigliani, from Parkinson’s Victoria, on Wednesday 25 October 2017. Caterina will present to the Group at 1pm at the Moama Bowling Club.

Intereach Community Support Care Coordinator Anna Scott said Caterina’s visit will provide a great opportunity to keep up to date with developments and to hear from an expert in the field.

‘‘We are really pleased to have Caterina present at our monthly meeting. Parkinson’s disease can be very isolating and I would encourage anyone whose life is affected by the condition to come along, ask questions and learn more about the work of Parkinson’s Victoria. This group is about providing support to each other and keeping up to date with the latest information and treatment of Parkinson’s.’’

The Parkinson’s Support Group meets at the Moama Bowling Club on the third Wednesday of every month.

Transport can be provided for Deniliquin members to attend. New members are very welcome and family members and carers are also able to attend.
