Community Transport can be used for transport to medical appointments, social outings, shopping trips and more.

Intereach Community Transport supports older people, people living with disability, including children and their carers, people who are transport disadvantaged and Department of Veterans’ Affairs support recipients, to stay independent and connected to their local community.

How does Community Transport work?

Phone Intereach Community Transport, or drop in for a chat. We assess your eligibility, and then develop an idea of your needs and arrange transport to suit you. After your first trip, just phone or drop into the Deniliquin or Griffith office during opening hours to book. Bookings in advance are required.

Is there a cost?

Cost will vary depending on the destination, distance you travel and eligibility criteria. You will receive a list of suggested contributions at your first meeting with staff, or upon request.

Where is it available?

Intereach Community Transport is available in the Edward River and Griffith local government areas.
