Help shape the future of aged care services
Recruitment is now underway for the Intereach Aged Care Consumer Advisory Body (or CAB).
If you would like to share your views on the future of aged care services in the regions, we would love to hear from you!
The CAB is a voluntary group that meets twice a year. Topics discussed may include the range of services provided, how those services are delivered, opportunities for improvement, feedback mechanisms, communications with participants, and more.
Members of the CAB are supported by our friendly team to attend meetings online or in-person.
Intereach General Manager Sarah Matthews said the CAB was a great opportunity for local people to share their perspectives and experience.
“The CAB provides a structured mechanism to provide feedback on the aged care services provided by Intereach, and a formal pathway for channeling consumer feedback to the Intereach Board and management,” Ms Mathews said.
As a member of the CAB, you will have the opportunity to:
- Connect with other consumers to understand their experiences and perspectives.
- Review information, think, discuss, and share feedback about care and services.
- Have your voice heard by giving feedback to those who can improve care and services.
“In keeping with Intereach’s values and priorities, recruitment embraces diversity and inclusion, to ensure the CAB is reflective of the experiences, perspectives, and expectations of a wide range of aged care clients,” Ms Matthews (pictured) said.
The opportunity is open to past and present participants, identified consumer advocates, and representatives from across the Intereach footprint.
