Intereach launches new Indigenous-inspired ROAR logo
Intereach has proudly unveiled a striking new indigenous-inspired logo for its ROAR (Reach Out And Relax) program.
The unveiling took place on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day at the Mildura office, where members of the local community, indigenous elders, and dignitaries came together to celebrate the milestone.
The refreshed logo reimagines Intereach’s iconic ‘Leo’ lion symbol with vibrant Aboriginal art influences, reflecting the cultural heritage and deep connection to Country shared by the communities where ROAR operates.
The new design was created by Della, a proud Ngiyeempaa Nation woman from Broken Hill/Wilcannia, who has been living on Barkindji Country in Dareton for the past 20 years.
Della’s artwork beautifully combines traditional motifs with the familiar strength and warmth of the Leo logo, symbolising ROAR’s work with young people, and their families to improve emotional wellbeing.
ROAR Program manager Jayne Lang said the logo launch on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day was a powerful recognition of culture, community, and connection.
“We are honoured to work alongside indigenous communities and to have this logo represent our shared commitment to nurturing emotional resilience and wellbeing in children and young people,” she said.

Intereach Family and Mental Health Senior Manager Rob Phillips said it was a proud moment for the team.
“The Aboriginal version of this logo is a reminder that when we connect to Country, culture and family, we are connected with generations who care for us and share ways that help us be happy, healthy and connected,” he said.
Intereach’s ROAR program provides targeted support to children and families to enhance emotional health, offering a safe, culturally respectful space for growth and healing.
