Intereach Secures NDIA Agreements to Deliver LAC and EC Services to 2027

Intereach has finalised new agreements with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to continue delivering Local Area Coordination (LAC) and Early Childhood (EC) services across our footprint until 30 June 2027.
These agreements follow months of constructive discussions and mark an important milestone in our ongoing partnership with the NDIA. They reaffirm our shared commitment to supporting people with disability, their families, and carers, while working together to shape the future of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Strengthening Collaboration for the Future
Over the next two years, Intereach and the NDIA will work closely to trial and evaluate new ways of engaging with participants and their families. This collaborative approach will draw on the recommendations of the NDIA Independent Review, ensuring that service delivery evolves in ways that truly meet the needs of the community.
Through this process, Intereach expects to contribute valuable insights that will help inform the design of the future Navigator and Lead Practitioner roles within the scheme. These roles are anticipated to focus on building stronger, more personalised support pathways for NDIS participants.
Continued Focus on People and Community
Intereach Co-CEO Yvette Buhagiar said the agreements reflected a shared dedication to learning, innovation, and delivering high-quality support.
“This is an exciting opportunity to not only continue providing LAC and EC services but to play an active role in shaping how the NDIS works for people into the future,” Mrs Buhagiar said.
With these agreements in place, Intereach will continue to provide trusted, community-based services that help people navigate the NDIS, build connections, and achieve their goals.
