Free Women’s Health and Pampering Days

Do you know a woman who needs some pampering?
Intereach Ability Links and Murrumbidgee Local Health Service have invited local women to enjoy a free women’s health morning tea, with complimentary pampering sessions.
Events will be held in Wagga and Griffith and will include free hand massages and nail painting.
The events are also an opportunity for women of all ages to learn more about pap tests, breast checks, contraception, sexually transmitted infections and looking after themselves.
Intereach CEO Keryn Fox said that women often forget to look after themselves. “There are so many women out there who put everyone else and their needs first and rarely take time to care for themselves. This is a free session offering women the chance to relax, socialise and enjoy some guilt-free indulgence.”
“The event will also include relaxed and confidential health information, giving women an opportunity to ask questions, get ‘the facts’ and have any health myths dispelled. It’s important that, as women, we look after ourselves. After all, so often the health of those we love starts with us and healthy, well informed women are amazing advocates for health and wellbeing in their own families, and communities.”
