Intereach announced as NDIS LAC and ECEI partner for Mallee and Goulburn

Intereach is delighted to have been announced as the Local Area Coordination (LAC) and Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the Mallee and Goulburn areas.

As an NDIS partner, Intereach will deliver LAC and ECEI in the Local Government areas of Buloke, Gannawarra, Mildura, Swan Hill, Moira, Greater Shepparton, Strathbogie, Mitchell and Murrindindi.

Intereach already provides LAC and ECEI services in the Loddon area of Victoria and LAC services in the Murrumbidgee area of NSW. The National Disability Insurance Agency recently announced Intereach as the ECEI provider in the Murrumbidgee area.

Local Area Coordination services assist people to navigate the NDIS. This includes providing planning and coordination services to give people with disability choice and control over the services they use. LAC also supports people to navigate mainstream services and become an active part of their community.

ECEI supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. ECEI works with families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life.

Planning for the establishment of the LAC and ECEI services in Mallee and Goulburn is now underway.
