Open House Services Expo at Hay Intereach
Social and community services available in Hay will be highlighted at an Open House Services Expo, hosted by Intereach.
The expo will be held on Thursday, November 24 from 11am to 2pm at the Intereach Hay office, 173-177 Lachlan St.
Intereach CEO Yvette Buhagiar said it was an ideal opportunity to learn more about a wide range of services available in the region, including those provided by Intereach.
“We are proud to be supporting the Hay community not only in hosting this expo, but playing an integral role in delivering important services for the Hay and district community,” Ms Buhagiar said.
“Intereach has the community at the heart of everything we do, so we are so pleased to bring a range of service providers together to allow people in the region to get an understanding of how we are all here to help and assist.”
Some of the service organisations who will be attending on the day will include:
- Carer Gateway – Live Better
- Linking Communities Network
- Services Australia
- Services NSW
There will also be information on the broad range of services provided by the Intereach Hay office which includes:
- Aboriginal Family Health Program
- Early Childhood Approach
- Family Links
- No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS)
- Reach Out And Relax (ROAR) – an early intervention program to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people.
The Hay Intereach office also has a visiting Local Area Coordinator, available to talk with people about the National Disability Insurance Scheme, providing information and answering any questions.
The Open House Services Expo will also be an opportunity to welcome the community to the renovated Hay Intereach office, which has been made more user-friendly for staff and community members.
So come along and grab a free sausage and chat with the Intereach team and other service providers available in the Hay area.
