Do you worry about what to cook for dinner without breaking the bank?

Deniliquin people have been invited to attend a free cooking demonstration to learn how to cook easy, delicious and budget-friendly meals.

Local woman Gill McKenna will run the demonstration in partnership with Intereach Ability Links, Rotary, St Vincent de Paul, Vinnies Services and the Salvation Army.

The “Cheap, Easy & Yummy” demonstration will showcase how to use simple, low-cost ingredients to prepare meals that are tasty and nutritious.

Attendees will get to sample each of the demonstrated recipes and can also take home a free booklet of Gill’s tried and tested recipes.

Intereach CEO Keryn Fox said, “Food doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated to be delicious and healthy. This demonstration will teach you about cooking meals on a budget, so you can cut costs without cutting taste and nutrition.”
